The Designer

Former model on the international scene, this allowed him to build relationships in all trades related to sport, fashion and the influence of social networks. This experience made him learn the workings of fashion, and the ability to stand out despite the competition.

Thanks to his many travels, he was able to immerse himself in many cultures allowing him to create a unique clothing line, which him and his entourage would like to wear.

Our History

Matt and Emery have been close friends since 2016.
In 2019 Matt moved to New York City to join Emery and collaborate in the nightlife industry creating and hosting events which allowed them to discover their creative and business partnership as well as generate a database of high-profile individuals that came in handy for their new partnership for COLORBLOCK.

Due to covid they had to put their business on hold, with the thought of returning in some way stronger than ever. Matt returned to France where he birthed COLORBLCOCK in 2020. Emery continued his work as Director of Innovations at a creative immersive agency.

After many conversations, they realized that partnering up and moving COLORBLOCK to New York City was a no brainer – each expert in their own field; Matt using his talents as a creative director and designer and Emery using his expertise in business and marketing.

Why Colorblock?

In a Streetwear design, the brand redevelops the term ‘COLORBLOCK’ discovered by Yves Saint Laurent in the 1960s by playing with the association of colors and solid color blocks. We find this inspiration in architecture with shapes and colors but also in the world of skateboarding and pop-art.

This Design is intended for a trendy, contemporary, rather young and positive public, looking for clothes that are pleasant to wear but know how to stand out. With a spirit of positivity in the choice of colors. This range of clothing promises a wide development potential that can play with both color shades and geometric shapes through its logo.

Capsule Collection Summer 2021

The first capsule collection is composed of t-shirts, sweaters, caps that are made in Europe.

They are soft, pleasant clothes that convey a message of positivity. Another important point of demarcation, COLORBLOCK chooses to offer more attractive prices to better adapt to the chosen clientele.

New collection 2022/2023

After the success of the capsule collection in 2021 which served to introduce the brand into people’s heads and hearts, COLORBLOCK presents its first collection, with an identity that we do not forget.

This new range takes its inspiration from New York City. Too often dressed in black, we wanted to mark a contrast so that people who wear COLORBLOCK feel good, feel alive, feel happy by attracting light to them.

Always colorful, with new designs and new additional logos, but also the resumption of the best-seller of the 2021 capsule, today we are very proud to present to you the fruits of our labor, which we hope will be able to recover a loyal audience that believes in the future of COLORBLOCK
